The premium daily program is their most popular plan. Their kosher menu is careful to abide by the strict standard of the Orthodox Union. Vegetarians can experience one of the first vegetarian menus of its kind, adhering to a 40/30/30 diet that includes soy and tofu products that are vegetarian favorites.
Their high in fiber and heart healthy menu is low in sodium, cholesterol and saturated fat so that it promotes optimal health of the heart. Diabetics will find a diet that is high in complex carbohydrates and lean protein, which keeps blood sugar levels stable. Finally, a kid-friendly menu will teach children all about how to eat healthy with a variety of food and appropriate portions.
All meal plans include breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack and a reasonable dessert.

Breakfast - Day 1 - Sweet Potato Pancakes with Scrambled Eggs
Breakfast Day 2 - Carrot and Bran Power Muffin
Breakfast Day 3 - Seven Grain Cereal with Maple Nut Syrup and Banana Power Cream
In order to sample the Chefs Diet, I ordered the 3 day sampler for $176.97, or $58.99 per day. There are less expensive options. A 31 day program would be $42.99 day or $1,332.69 per month. Since my reviews are based on the value of a meal, I am estimating 90% of the daily cost is reserved for meals, and 10% is reserved for snacks. This makes the cost of a Chefs Diet meal $17.70 and a snack worth $2.95. I did not pay any shipping with my order, but I do not factor shipping into the cost of meals.
My Chefs Diet meals were delivered fresh to my door every evening, for the next day. Now, I am not one that has an issue paying a lot of money for fine gourmet dining, however I do have to feel there is value for what I am getting.
Breakfast - Day 1 - Sweet Potato Pancakes with Scrambled Eggs. The Sweet Potato Pancakes are very good, the strawberry was fresh, but the scrambled eggs were nothing special and a little on the bland side. I can't say I would pay $17.70 for this breakfast again.
Lunch - Day 1 - Grilled Chicken BLT Club Salad. The salad was huge and loaded with fresh ingredients. The grilled chicken breast was okay. There were tiny shreds of bacon bits, just enough to call it a BLT in my opinion, but I wouldn't' pay $17.70 again for a salad.
Dinner - Day 1 - Baked Scrod on Red Rice with Swiss Chard. The scrod was very good, if not exceptional. It had a buttery flavor that only comes from the freshest fish. The red rice was bland, and plentiful, and the Swiss chard was good. I might pay up to $15 for this meal, but not $17.70.
Snack 1 - Day 1 - Buffalo Mozzarella with Tomato and Balsamic Vinaigrette. This tipped over during delivery and all the vinaigrette spilled out, but it was still very good. The slices of the cheese were thick and the tomato was fresh. I would buy this again for $2.95.
Snack 2 - Day 1 - Banana and Macadamia Nut Cookie. This was very good. It tasted homemade and was soft and chewy. But I wouldn't pay $2,95 for it again.
Breakfast - Day 2 - Carrot and Bran Power Muffin with Peach Yogurt Spread. $17.70 for a muffin? Even with the fancy name it's not a good value.
Lunch - Day 2 - Pan Seared Seafood Cake with Soy Mustard Vinaigrette. The seafood cakes were good, the salad was good, just not worth $17.70.
Dinner - Day 2 - Osso Bucco with French Green Lentils. These are the smallest pieces of Osso Bucco I have ever seen, but it is a diet plan, and they were perfectly prepared. The lentils needed a little seasoning, but they were tender and plentiful. A little more gravy would have been nice, but I'd order this again.
Day 2 - Snack 2 - Mexican Tamale Con Queso Fresco. Wow, this is the best one I ever had in my life. Why not make this a dinner? Well worth $2.95.
Day 2 - Snack 2 - Cloven Pear Crisp. Very small, but tasty. Worth $2.95
Breakfast - Day 3 - Seven Grain Cereal with Maple Nut Syrup and Banana Power Cream. Basically oatmeal not worth $17.70
Lunch - Day 3 - Sausalito Turkey Wrap with Chili Dressing and Salsa Fresco. Another fancy name for half of a turkey wrap. You can probably get two full ones for under $17.70.
Dinner - Day 3 - Honey Glazed Pork Loin with Braised Leeks and Chived Mashed Potatoes. Very good meal, but similar meals are sold by other diet meal delivery services for under $10.
Day 3 - Snack 1 - Seared Ahi Tuna Napoleon with Salsa Tortilla Flats. I couldn't tell the difference between this tuna and the dry tuna packs you can buy at the store. They are probably a few aisles over from the tortilla chips. Still worth $2.95.
Day 3 - Snack 2 - Cinnamon Berry Cupcake. It is okay, just not worth $2.95.
The Chefs Diet sales representatives will call you every day to see how you like the food and take your next order, which was a turn-off for me. Overall, the food was good but you would have to have a much different opinion of the value of a dollar than I do to say you would order this meal plan again.

Chefs Diet Review
My Chef Review. Below you will see some of the products I have tried from this supplier. My review scoring is simple: I give each meal a thumbs up or a thumbs down based on the quality of the meal at the price I paid for it. A thumbs up means I would buy it again at the posted price. However, I do recoomend Chef's Diet if you feel the price is within your buget!
I also take into consideration everything I think would be important to a consumer, including the shipping process, the condition of the goods received, the packaging, and the ease and quality of the reheating process. Below is my Chefs Diet review based on the prepared meals I have tried.

Meals average 1300-1500 calories per day. A small sampling of their premium menu reflects the quality and variety of their meals. Breakfasts have foods such as cinnamon crepes and quiche Lorraine.
For lunches, customers can enjoy a chicken Caesar salad, an Asian steak salad or salmon paillard. Dinners include entrees of veal scaloppini and even Mahi-Mahi. Their snacks and desserts are well portioned with choices like stuffed artichoke hearts and delicious strawberry swirl cheesecake.
