Diabetics face more challenges when it comes to eating a balanced diet. First, they must configure their meals so they obtain the proper nutrients, but avoid certain sugars and carbohydrates harmful to their body. The planning of this type of diet is not an easy task. It takes a great deal of time to plan diabetic meals and many diabetics simply cannot spare this much time while maintaining everyday responsibilities. This dilemma is precisely why prepared meal services such as EasyLife Meals exists.
They should be carefully monitored and, for the most part, carbohydrates that are high in fiber and have a low glycemic index will maintain blood sugar levels.
When customers choose EasyLife Meals, they do not have to do the extensive planning that is required for a diabetic meal plan because the work is done for them. This company plans each and every meal based on guidelines put forth by the American Diabetic Association. They will make sure diabetic customers receive the right amount of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in their diet without compromise.
They even provide a special feature on their website that allows customers to input how many calories as well as grams of carbohydrates, proteins and fats they need in a meal. Once they input this information, the meals that contain their specific needs will appear.

The food LOOKS great! I lost both my mother and youngest sister to diabetes and now I work with teens to help them lose weight so they DON'T get diabetes! (So...I know how important it is for a diabetic (and ALL of us) to eat healthy. THANK YOU EasyLife for putting QUALITY and taste together for ALL. I'm impressed!

Overall, I have to say I was very impressed with these meals I personally purchased and tasted. I was also very impressed with the extra serving of vegetables that come with each diabetic meal. Diabetics need to have vegetables, fiber, and lean proteins in their diet to help maintain proper blood sugars. These are the only prepared meals I'm aware of that offers an entree, side dish, and two servings of vegetables. The fixed price of $7.99 per meal is very reasonable for the quality of the meals I received, which qualifies this company is an excellent value.
I was very impressed with the packaging and how these meals arrived. Meals were wrapped in bubble wrap in groups of two to ensure the dry ice did not crack any of the plastic trays. As a result, my order arrived in perfect condition.
Although this company specializes in diabetic meals, these meals can also support any healthy lifestyle, including weight loss, and senior meal delivery services. At $7.99 per meal, they are an excellent value and better than what you could buy at the supermarket in the frozen-food section. I was very happy to see a company produce high-quality diabetic meals that not only tasted good, but are reasonably priced.

A diabetic's nutritional plan should contain carbohydrates, proteins and fats that keep blood sugar levels at a constant. The carbohydrates they eat are the most import factor to control.

EasyLife Meals Review
My Chef Review. Below you will see some of the products I have tried from this supplier. My review scoring is simple: I give each meal a thumbs up or a thumbs down based on the quality of the meal at the price I paid for it. A thumbs up means I would buy it again at the posted price.
I also take into consideration everything I think would be important to a consumer, including the shipping process, the condition of the goods received, the packaging, and the ease and quality of the reheating process. Below is my personal review of EasyLife Meals.

For example, if they are in need of a low fat diet, the customer can customize the meal selections to show them meals that are below the amount of fat they specify. There are three plans from which customers may choose. All of which contain meals that are chef prepared, fresh-frozen and ready to heat and eat. There plans include:
The Lavish Package: Customers choose 21 meals.
The Preferred Package: Customers choose 14 meals.
The Starter Package: Customers choose 7 meals.
The Swedish meatballs seemed like they were homemade instead of those frozen Swedish meatballs you'd get at the supermarket. The low-sodium egg noodles were tasty, and the vegetables were fresh. The portion size of the stuff pepper was grand, and the meal tasted delicious it was another excellent value for $7.99.
I also enjoyed the Seafood Primavera, which was shrimp and haddock in a cream sauce over fettuccine pasta with a side dish of vegetables. The fish reheated well in the microwave and did not become rubbery or overcooked.
The Chicken A La King was also very good, although it could've been a little bland, but these meals are low in sodium to support healthy diabetic lifestyles.
I enjoyed the Shrimp Creole I was especially surprised at the quality of the wild and white rice blend and how it reheated in the microwave. It tasted and had a texture as if it were prepared fresh. The Salisbury Steak may have been one of the best Salisbury Steaks I ever tried from a prepared meal delivery company. It was made of real meat and looked homemade the sweet mashed potatoes were excellent too.
The Turkey Chili meal was good, but the chili was not the proper consistency in the way one would expect the chili to be. This is why I gave it a thumbs down and would not order it again. However, there really was nothing wrong with it. The pork loin was excellent. The portion size was good, and the pureed cauliflower was surprisingly delicious.
